Choosing to study in Australia offers Nepalese students numerous benefits:
1. Admission Process: First, you need to get accepted to an Australian college or university with national recognition. They set the minimum, academic, and English Language proficiency criteria depending on the course.
2. Financial Capability: You need to be financially capable to apply for Australia. You need to provide the necessary evidence to show that your sponsor is capable of funding your tuition fee, living expenses, and health insurance.
3. Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) Status: You need to include a statement confirming your genuine intention to study temporarily in Australia and return to Nepal in the future while applying for a student visa.
4. English Language Proficiency: Without English language proficiency, you cannot apply to Australian universities or colleges. Depending upon the course and university/college, you need to take IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL and meet their minimum requirement.
5. Health and Character Assessment: You need to meet Australia’s health and character standards. This includes your medical report and police clearance certificate to assess your health and character.
6. Visa Application: After receiving a Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE) from your chosen institution, you can proceed to apply for a student visa. Ensure you fulfill criteria such as having valid health insurance, adequate financial resources, and meeting the Genuine Study Intent requirement.
The cost depends upon the course, level, universities, and college you choose.
