Eligibility Criteria
Entry requirements serve as a guideline for the level of academic and English language proficiency that CQUniversity expects from applicants. These requirements can differ depending on the course.
To apply for a course at CQUniversity, students need to meet both the academic and English language requirements. This ensures they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their studies. Besides meeting these academic and language standards, students must also satisfy the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirements set by the Department of Home Affairs.
Academic Requirements
Academic requirements at CQUniversity can differ depending on the course. Students need to meet at least the minimum academic standards for the program they want to join, as detailed in CQUniversity’s student handbook.

CQUniversity accepts qualifications from overseas institutions for course entry. They also offer alternative pathways and recognize prior learning.
